Happy St David's Day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I was hoping to do a bit of progress on my Avatar scene this weekend, but my throat had gone dry since Wednesday causing me to cough a bit so I couldn't resume. I was also pretty tired from work being the week after half-term.

Managed to submit my Amphibia script with two weeks left to spare, but I MAAAY have gone back on my word on resuming progress on my Avatar scene this week. Because of how busy I was at work last month, I felt that I needed the half-term to myself.

Half-term starts tomorrow so I have the whole week to resume progress on my Avatar Reanimated scene. At the same time I'm almost done with my Amphibia script. Once I get that finished and submitted soon I don't have to crunch the 2nd March deadline.

I've decided to wait until half-term to continue producing my Avatar Reanimated scene, that way I'll have more time and energy to resume. I've also been writing a script for a competition to introduce an Autistic character in a cartoon. I chose Amphibia!

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas! Made some progress on the Sunset in Somerset script on Christmas Eve, could've done more but next week should be quieter. Looks like the MLP Reanimated has been pushed back again, might as well update my showreel soon.

Had a nice birthday yesterday - ate out for lunch and watched the Home Alone double-bill at my local cinema! Hoping to make more progress on the Sunset in Somerset script within the next two weeks, as well as updating my showreel before the year ends.

Not a lot to say this week. As stated previously I’ll be more free to continue my scriptwriting for “Sunset in Somerset & Dawn in Damascus”. Hoping the MLP Reanimated video gets uploaded soon, want to update my showreel by adding my scene for the project.

Did a lil' bit of progress on the Sunset in Somerset script, but once the Christmas holidays start I'll have more free time and energy to finish it. I've also uploaded my Mr. Copycat short film onto my YouTube channel for everyone to watch and enjoy!

The bad news is I didn't make a start on the Avatar Reanimated project. I think I'm still feeling burnt-out from finishing the MLP one. The good news is I might be collaborating for a short film with someone I met at the It's a Funny Life Film Festival!

This week I've found out on the Last Airbender Reanimated Discord server (posted since last Monday) that the "soft" deadline to submit our scenes is Feb 1st and the final is May 1st. Since I still have a week off, it's probably best that I make a start.

The head of the MLP Reanimated project has uploaded the WIP premiere from UKPonyCon on the Discord server yesterday (I saw myself!) At this point we're 85% complete and expecting the full film to be completed by late November. Everyone did a GREAT job!
