AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER REANIMATED Avatar fans have been spoiled this weekend. Yesterday the new Avatar movie has been dropped on Paramount+ and today the trailer for the Reanimated collab got dropped, too! Can't wait! 😁

While the World Cup Final still hangs in the balance with nil-nil as I'm writing this, I'm hoping to revive a shelved project during my Foundation Level course at Uni during the Summer holidays. I'll tell you this, it'll be shorter than Mr. Copycat! 😆😅

MR. COPYCAT Sorry for not posting my Sunday updates these past few weeks, the Internet at home went down since 2nd June! Anyhoo, Mr. Copycat returned to London for the GUTSY Film Festival dedicated to media makers with "invisible disabilities"!

Still nothing to update on (having a break this month,) but it's hard to imagine that this week it's been five years I've submitted my Grad film "Cloud Boy". Wow. Half a decade already. I'm also flying to Sicily next week, so I might not post on Sunday! 😅

Not much to update on this week after completing my Avatar Reanimated scene last week. Saw other animators' scenes in a shared Google Drive, they look really awesome! Looking forward to seeing the final product next year!

The Easter/Spring break starts tomorrow, it'll pretty much be my final push of spending as much free time as possible to continue my Avatar Reanimated scene. I'm not too far off from finishing my background, then I can do Katara and Sokka near completion.

Happy Mother's Day, and it's Oscar Night too! Made a lil' bit of progress on my Avatar Reanimated scene - imported Zuko into After Effects and completed the lip sync. Currently following a (long) tutorial on making fire for his head and hands.

Made a lil' bit of progress with my Avatar scene today. Wish I could've done more this week, but I was still catching up with backlog at work and recovering from my dry throat (which has now stopped me coughing!) Hopefully next week will be better...

Happy St David's Day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I was hoping to do a bit of progress on my Avatar scene this weekend, but my throat had gone dry since Wednesday causing me to cough a bit so I couldn't resume. I was also pretty tired from work being the week after half-term.

Managed to submit my Amphibia script with two weeks left to spare, but I MAAAY have gone back on my word on resuming progress on my Avatar scene this week. Because of how busy I was at work last month, I felt that I needed the half-term to myself.

Half-term starts tomorrow so I have the whole week to resume progress on my Avatar Reanimated scene. At the same time I'm almost done with my Amphibia script. Once I get that finished and submitted soon I don't have to crunch the 2nd March deadline.

I've decided to wait until half-term to continue producing my Avatar Reanimated scene, that way I'll have more time and energy to resume. I've also been writing a script for a competition to introduce an Autistic character in a cartoon. I chose Amphibia!
